Before I go to the supermarket I always try to make a list, but I abandon the activity after 1 minute. Every time I write exactly the same essential foods, even if I’m are aware that the list has major deficiencies. Soooo, this is how my shopping list usually looks like.
As you can see I am very explicit in “fruits and vegetables” chapter and the list is complex and elaborate. : D
I’m kidding, of course, but I have an explanation for this phenomenon. I like to buy seasonal fruits and vegetables and I’m not always sure what I will find in the supermarket. Prices change from week to week, a pineapple is 7 RON (1.8$) today and 15 RON (3.8$) after a few days. For one product the price difference may not seem very big, but if I buy 7 products in the same situation, the increase of the amount on the receipt would be felt.
All that being said, I was very happy when I saw this week that in the supermarket I can still find nectarines that have taste and flavour. I bought a substantial quantity so I decided that one of them deserves to go in a desert.
I chose to make some flavourful, nourishing and 100% healthy muffins and to make the recipe more interactive I filmed the preparation process.
