When I posted the recipe for my healthy cinnamon-apple apple cake, I promised to make more fall-friendly desserts. I love this combination therefore I always try to come up with better and healthier recipes to tame my cravings.
I am often afraid to make tarts because I don’t want to invest 30 minutes of my life and get nothing but a hard crust and a mountain of dishes. Many recipes recommend to make a compact dough that can be rolled into a thin sheet. I decided to make it my own way and I made a crust similar in texture to the cookie crust. The good part is that you will not have to chill the dough before using it and you will also skip the rolling. This crust is also gluten free, it’s delicious and it doesn’t taste like sweetened plastic.
I just fell in love with this tart and I must admit it was one of the best desserts we’ve eaten lately. It was eaten in two days, and I was left looking sadly at an empty plate on which I could only see a few crumbs. 😀
This tart is packed with flavour and trust me, it’s so good that you will not believe that it’s healthy and sugar free!
